A simple splash page welcomes visitors to this free photography website. A typographical logo was enhanced with rollover effects causing the words to blur, creating an attention-grabbing and visually appealing effect. Clicking the logo opens up the main website where a slideshow of photographs is positioned in the center of the page, catching the viewer’s attention. Ambient, low-fidelity music streams from a music player on the left side of the page, installed with the free website builder to set the tone of a visitor’s experience inside the website.

The imagery contained within this contemporary style website is presented in a series of galleries linked to the word Book on the upper left corner. From here, a drop down menu of subject labels connects to each collection of images. Directional arrows in each gallery make for smooth browsing as one pages through Rathana Lean’s atmospheric archive of work.

An unobtrusive set of menu tabs is positioned on the lower left corner of the main web page, connecting to the website’s other pages. Rolling over a menu tab returns a clicking sound, complementing the contemporary feel of this free Flash website. Other notable behaviors were allocated to the French Biography page, which snaps into place with a dynamic bounce. A minimalist contact form was installed using a widget in the free website builder, allowing visitors to get in touch with the inspired designer of this brilliant photography website.
